Check out that deliberately misleading title eh? Classic bit of clickbait there. I've got my finger right on the pulse with the manipulative-internet-speak I tells ya. I'm starting to think I don't even need that promotions bundle I purchased from 'musicians.ig_world' promising to grow my followers to 15k+ AND feature my Youtube in their story... I've got this self promotion thing nailed.
Anyway, self deprecating preamble out of the way, I'm actually genuinely happy to share another of these live videos with you. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. The band had such a lovely vibe playing together that night and all the recordings sound very special because of it.
This latest video is for 'When I'm Drunk' from Calendar - Chapter II. It's one of the songs I wrote with Lobelia Lawson in a wonderfully productive writing session we had a couple of years ago.
This segues so smoothly into the fact that I'm heading to do some MORE writing with her this Sunday. I can't wait. I love getting into the writing process with Lo. I feel such a magical atmosphere in the room whenever we play together. I wish we got to do it more. Alas time and geography. Anyway, I'm getting emotional here. Pull it together Richard.
